GMS (Gyroscopic Motion Stabilization System) / EMS System (Electronic Motion Stabiliser)
The EMS is a specialised motion-dampening system for moving lights which allows moving lights to be rigged on very lightweight hanging or flown structures. Traditionally, rigging moving lights on trapezes, lightweight automated bars or pantographs would not be practical due to unwanted oscillation in the structure. The EMS counteracts unwanted movement of automated lights opening up a plethora of new opportunities to creatively rig moving lights in without the need for heavy-duty mounting infrastructure. The EMS emits low noise levels, allowing it to be used during live performances.
Using gyroscopic technology, the EMS stabilises moving lights by counteracting unwanted sway and spin, without the need for additional bracing. It's compact, lightweight, and effective across a range of rigging applications-including truss, ceilings, and more delicate structures.
Adding the EMS to our lineup gives clients more options when working in sensitive or challenging environments where fixture stability is critical.
